Meet Ted Hughes, the Creator of ColorMyMath
ColorMyMath was founded by Ted Hughes, an innovator with a passion for education and a unique vision for how math should be taught. With a background in both art and mathematics, Ted saw the potential to merge these two worlds to create a system that would not only teach math but also inspire creativity.
Ted’s journey began when he noticed that many children struggled with traditional math teaching methods, often finding numbers to be dull and confusing. He knew there had to be a better way—something that would make numbers come to life for students. Drawing on his experiences in education and his love for visual learning, Ted developed the ColorMyMath system, where numbers 1 through 9 are represented by distinct 3D shapes and colors.
Through years of research and refinement, Ted crafted a system that simplifies math by making it tangible. His vision is to empower children, teachers, and parents to approach math with excitement, using tools that engage both the mind and the imagination.
